Secure your Australian Visa via these Employer Sponsored Pathways
Australia is currently experiencing a shortage of skilled workers, across a range of occupations and around the country. If you have skills and experience in demand, you may be eligible to be sponsored or nominated by a business operating in Australia for a temporary or permanent visa.
Our experience sets us apart in terms of navigating the way forward for you and your employer. Find out how below!
For those who have not yet accumulated sufficient employment to be nominated for an employer sponsored work visa, the Training visa may provide the opportunity to gain valuable work experience. With several streams, the occupational training to improve skills in a listed occupation, may be relevant to such candidates.
Applicants must have recent 12 months’ experience (study or work) in the nominated occupation and the employer must have a suitable training programme available.
Applicants can be nominated in the Specialist stream or the Core Skills stream if the position aligns with an occupation on the relevant list. Salary threshholds apply to each stream. Visa applicants must meet the skill threshold for the occupation via qualification and /or experience and must also have at least 12 months’ full time equivalent employment in the occupation or related field within the 5 years preceding the application. Some applicants must undertake a formal skills assessment and applicants must meet English threshholds either through nationality, education or test.
The Employer Nomination visa is a permanent residence visa, accessed via one of two pathways: Direct Entry or Transitional.
Direct Entry is available where the nominated person obtains a favourable skills assessment in the nominated occupation and has a minimum of three years’ full-time equivalent employment at the skill level in the occupation.
For those holding the subclass 482 visa, the Transitional pathway is available after working for one or more employers for a minimum of two years.
Visa applicants must have an Australian employer to nominate them.
Employers based in regional Australia may nominate workers to fill positions aligned with occupations on the relevant occupation lists.
Applicants must have at least three years’ full time equivalent experience in the nominated occupation and will need a formal skills assessment before applying for the visa. Applicants must prove English language ability either through nationality, education or test.
The subclass 494 visa is a five-year visa with a pathway to permanent residence available after working in the nominated position for three years.
This visa allows people who have lived and worked in designated regional areas of Australia on an eligible visa (494 or 491), the subclass 191 visa offers permanent residence. Key features include:

Sarah and her team were patient and understanding through a range of complex matters which ultimately culminated in me getting the decision I required to move to Australia. They guided me through the whole process, reassured me of outcomes outside of my control and did not give up when uncertainty arose.
They are precise, systematic and diligent with their work. Trust them, be patient and ultimately you will get what you are looking for.

My Employer Nomination Visa wouldn’t have been possible without Sarah. My heartfelt thanks to her and her team. Special thanks to Carol and Toni who were so patient with me and helped me understand the documents that I need to submit and also patiently corrected the mistakes that happened on my behalf. Sarah has been the most helpful and informative migration lawyer I have spoken to, she has recommended that I hold off on making any decisions until later in the year, when there is likely to be an update to state sponsorship opportunities. Still holding hope!
